Let me start out by saying that I do not suppose to know anything. I do not suppose to think that I am right. I think and listen and read, and I desire to know the truth. More than that, I desire to live out the truth, and these are the things that my writings are about. 

Historically, I have been too ready to jump in feet first into a conversation without taking the time to try to understand a situation or perspective. Have you ever thought that you knew something must be absolutely true? Something someone said or did, or maybe their intentions, only to find out you were completely wrong.

That has happened way too often to me in my life, and I want to be different.
